Ever since he decided to become a Shadow Hunter, his eyesight darkened until he cannot see anything but little speckles of blue light called "Internal Aura". This is a sixth sense given to all Shadow Hunters in order to hunt more efficiently than those who can see. Thus, he cannot see colours anymore as he is now blind. But that was a price he had to pay in order to became a Shadow Hunter. He doesn't really care to see the world anymore since he got "sick of it" and would rather blind himself from the world that he hated so much. This is because he grew up as a slave's child being abused by the master on daily basis. Even holding that grudge against the society, he is loyal to his fellow hunters and is pretty outgoing. He can be a bit of a loner at times but he's quite social and can play around if he wanted to.
Elaine:
Class: Rogue/Ship Captain

She is loud, thunderous, and not to mention cunning. She's a rogue who doesn't sneak, instead she'd slyly steal boldly in front of you without your notice. She's an excellent pickpocket who knows tricks to all cunning stealing techniques. She's mostly cheerful and upbeat as she's usually the one in taking charge of everything. However, she's an illiterate, and is verbophobic (scared of words) due to lack of education. She later wins lots of money while gambling (due to her overflowing luck) and buys herself a ship and becomes the "Captain".
Lyren:
Birthplace: Toules
A young farmer who lost all his possession from the plague. When he was young, his parents died from the disease while he managed to escape to the abbey which was the only building that was "purified". After he turned 17, he left the abbey and settled his own farm at Forgahl. However the plague hit the place and he once again lost his possession. He comes back to the abbey to find another sense of direction and meets Franz. They become close and starts on a journey to Grindahl, the capital of Ellam, to pursue a second chance in life.
Crown Prince Franz of Ellam:
Birthplace: Grindahl
A Prince who has been ambushed and left to die by thieves. He suffers from amnesia and doesn't know his identity at all. Throughout the story, he is never really identified as a prince but a stranger who lost his memories. Before amnesia, his personality consisted of cold-hearted merciless person who looked down upon everyone. But after the incident, he becomes a different person. He gets looked after by Cerelle, the herbalist of the Heslin Abbey who teaches him everything about nature and compassion. He later travels along with Lyren who is a young farmer who lost everything from the plague.
Prince Arzlin:
Age: 25~29 (Depends)Birthplace: Grindahl
Franz's older half-brother who may seem cold at times but is really a warm person once became acquitted. He watches over Franz's heartless behaviour over his people and is usually the one trying to persuade his decisions away from execution. He secretly cares for his younger brother in spite the fact he was highly disappointed after knowing that his father crowned his younger brother instead of him. He acts as Franz's right hand man and looks after his duty. After Franz's disappearance he is always out searching for him with his handful of soldiers. He wields a rapier crafted by the palace's finest blacksmith.
Zahkayra of Farrypt:
Birthplace: Hakryta
Wielding a pair of nocturnal eyes and fangs like a cat, no wonder she was born a natural assassin. She's swift and agile that no one can suspect her creeping around at night... or even at day. However, in spite of her daring looks, she is actually a very friendly person with heart as gentle as a newborn kitten. This is why she doesn't want to be known as a Farrypt so she tries hiding her ears with a cap and her fangs with a scarf. The tattoo on her left eye has been there since she was three like all other Farrypt children had done before. Her weapon is a detachable giant scissors where she can either convert it to two daggers at her own will.
